LONDON (Alliance News) - Security provider Westminster Group PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a memorandum of understanding to handle aviation security with an unnamed client.
Westminster did not provide any details on the identity of the client nor the value of the deal, but said the 25-year contract will cover security services at seven international airports within the country concerned.
"I am particularly delighted to announce this latest development in our roll out of long term airport security services around the world as not only does this latest MoU relate to several international airports in a country with strong GDP growth, but is the 4th MoU signed in the past 12 months," said Westminster Chief Executive Peter Fowler.
Shares in Westminster were buoyed by the news, up 6.5% to 18.38 pence.
