LONDON (Alliance News) - Wentworth Resources Ltd said Monday it received payment of USD3.4 million in August for gas sales from the Mnazi Bay concession in Tanzania.
Payments were received from both Tanzania Petroleum Development Corp for one month's gas supply and Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd for two months.
Wentworth added that gross production volumes in August at the Mnazi Bay gas field averaged 87.9 million standard cubic feet per day.
Shares in Wentworth were trading down 3.7% at 26.00 pence each.
