Wentworth added that gross production volumes in September at the Mnazi Bay gas field averaged 83.2 million standard cubic feet per day.

The company also said it started a "detailed" re-evaluation of its Tembo discovery in north-eastern Mozambique.

The in-house study suggested the block "likely" has in-place gross volumes of about 87 billions of standard cubic feet of gas with recoverable volumes of about 61 billions of standard cubic feet of gas.
