LONDON (Alliance News) - Webis Holdings PLC said Wednesday that its business WatchandWager.com LLC had renewed its agreement with Churchill Downs Inc to allow customers to wager on Churchill's races from April 29, including the Kentucky Derby.
Webis said that under the contract WatchandWager has wagering and streaming rights from racetracks including Churchill Downs, Arlington Park, Calder, Canterbury Park, Fairgrounds, Finger Lakes, Hoosier Park, Indiana Downs, Miami Valley, Oaklawn Park and The Meadows.
Webis said the contract was important as it coincides with the launch of WatchandWager's new mobile application.
No financial details regarding the deal were disclosed.
Shares in Webis were trading down 2.2% at 3.30 pence Wednesday afternoon.
