LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering and environmental consultancy Waterman Group PLC on Friday said it has made progress in the first few months of its financial year and is trading in line with expectations.
Waterman Chairman Michael Baker, in a statement to be given at the company's annual general meeting, said the group has continued to expand its highways and transportation business in the five months since the start of July, and is working with London-listed Capital & Counties PLC on its property developments in Covent Garden in the capital.
The group has won further commissions for its Australian office and has been appointed to work on the Clerys building project in Dublin. It also won a contract in Ireland from property developer Hammerson PLC and partner Allianz Real Estate to work on the portfolio of assets they recently acquired from the country's National Asset Management Agency.
"We have experienced continued growth in our markets during the first five months of the current financial year. The board looks forward to announcing further progress when our half year results are issued in February 2016," Baker said.
