LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering and environmental consultancy Waterman Group PLC on Monday said it had advised FTSE 100-listed property group Hammerson PLC on its GBP335.0 million acquisition of the Grand Central shopping centre in Birmingham.
Hammerson said on Friday it had acquired the shopping centre, located atop the newly-redeveloped New Street station in Birmingham.
"We are delighted to be involved in advising Hammerson on the acquisition of this major development which is transforming Birmingham into a city of regional and national importance," said Waterman Chief Executive Nick Taylor.
Shares in Waterman were up 2.5% to 92.29 pence.
