LONDON (Alliance News) - Water Intelligence PLC on Thursday said that Managing Director Bobby Knell will join the company's board as a director, replacing executive director John Weigold.
Knell has been serving as a managing director of the leak detention services provider, being responsible for franchise relations, for the past four years.
Prior to his current role, Knell founded and grew the Dallas franchise of American Leak Detection Holding Corp into a "multi-million dollar operation", now run by his son, the company explained.
Water Intelligence owns American Leak Detection Holding.
"Water Intelligence's growth strategy is to both grow its American Leak Detection franchise system through national sales channels like insurance and, at the same time, execute selective reacquisitions of franchises and turn them into fast growing corporate operations that also reinforce franchise growth. Knell's stature in the franchise system will enhance the company's ability to accelerate its growth strategy," the firm explained.
Water Intelligence shares were trading down 2.8% at 279.00 pence each.
