LONDON (Alliance News) - The chair of cosmetics firm Warpaint London PLC said Tuesday the outlook for the remainder of 2018 is "encouraging" as its acquisition of Retra Holdings Ltd continues to integrate well.
Speaking at Warpaint's annual general meeting, Chairman Clive Garston said the firm - which owns the W7 and technic brands - continues to trade "in line" with expectations adding that the outlook for 2018 was "encouraging". Garston added the order book fro Christmas sales is "ahead" of last year.
Retra has "integrated well", Garston explained, with Warpaint seeing the expected synergies coming through.
In November, Warpaint acquired cosmetics peer Retra for GBP18.2 million.
"We continue to ensure that we are innovative both in our product strategy and routes to market, and we look forward to providing a further update at the time of the release of our interim results in September 2018", Garston added.
Shares in Warpaint were 5.1% higher at 225.00 pence on Tuesday.
