WANdisco Gets USD1 Million Contract Expansion With Chinese Customer

12th Dec 2019 15:46

(Alliance News) - WANdisco PLC said Thursday it has agreed a contract expansion with an existing China-based customer, which it did not identify, worth in the region of USD1.0 million.

The live data company said the contract will further extend the use of its Fusion technology across the client's enterprise.

The company said it believes there remains further room for growth with this customer, which is a provider of information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices.

WANdisco Fusion technology allows organizations to move large volumes of data and makes data available while meeting regulatory requirements, the company said.

David Richards, chief executive officer and chair of the company, said: "China is a growth market for WANdisco as data use in the region continues to expands at pace."

"Our blue-chip customer base is seeing real value from our software and we are proud to partner with these leading companies across the globe to enable the next generation of cloud technology," Richards said.

At the beginning of December WANdisco had signed USD1.0 million worth of renewal and expansion contracts with two existing customers, but did not disclose the names of the customers or the prices of each contract.

WANdisco shares were up 0.8% in London at 410.30 pence each on Thursday afternoon.
