(Alliance News) - Walker Greenbank PLC said Wednesday it has appointed interim Chief Financial Officer Michael Williamson to the role on a permanent basis with immediate effect.
Williamson was appointed as interim CFO at the Uxbridge-based interior furnishings group in December as a replacement for Mike Grant, who stepped down after six years in the role to "pursue other interests".
Williamson has for the past three years been working on a consultancy basis for listed businesses, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs, Walker Greenbank said, and he has both full-time and part-time experience as a CFO.
"I am delighted to welcome Michael Williamson to the permanent role of chief financial officer. His appointment concludes a thorough executive search process during which we were impressed by the high calibre of the applicants for the role. Michael has made a very positive contribution since joining the board and we look forward to working with him in the years ahead," said Chair Dianne Thompson.
Shares in Walker Greenbank were down 1.6% at 80.22 pence on Wednesday in London.
