LONDON (Alliance News) - Walker Greenbank PLC said Tuesday that it had commissioned a second fast-run digital printer at its fabric printing factory in Lancaster.
The digital printer cost around GBP350,000. The first printer was installed in 2012. The luxury interior furnishings company said that demand for digital fabric printing had accelerated in the past few years. Digital fabric printing contributed sales of GBP500,000 in the year ended January 2011, but grew to GBP1.7 million in the year ended January 2013.
Shares in Walker Greenbank were trading up 3.1% at 158.50 pence Tuesday afternoon.
