LONDON (Alliance News) - Interior furnishings group Walker Greenbank PLC said on Wednesday it has appointed Dianne Thompson as non-executive director and chair designate, with effect on Friday.
Thompson is current non-executive director at FTSE 100 retailer Next PLC for four years since 2015, and prior to that was chief executive officer of UK National Lottery provider Camelot Group PLC from 2000 to 2014.
Thompson will become the chair on a non-executive basis once as new chief executive officer is appointed.
"I am delighted to welcome Dianne Thompson to Walker Greenbank's board both as a non-executive director and as chairman designate. Dianne is a highly experienced executive and non-executive director and, as chairman, will bring a strong marketing and operational focus to the board. We look forward to working with her," said Interim Executive Chair Christopher Rogers.
Shares in Walker Greenbank were down 0.5% at 85.54 pence on Wednesday.
