LONDON (Alliance News) - W Resources PLC on Tuesday said it has raised GBP1.4 million in a share placing, money it will use to fund its work on the La Parrilla mine in Spain and the Régua mine in Portugal.
The tungsten, copper and gold miner said it had issued 466.7 million shares at 0.3 pence per share. Shares in the company were down 0.3% to 0.304 pence on Tuesday.
"The placement provides W with a strong base to progress the development of the La Parrilla and Régua mines, at which the company expects to reach significant milestones in 2015," said Chairman Michael Masterman.
