LONDON (Alliance News) - Tungsten, copper and gold exploration company W Resources PLC
said Tuesday the first ore has been fed to the Jig and Mill plant at the La Parrilla tungsten mine in Spain.
In April, W Resources first commissioned the jig and mill plant which is expected to upgrade the ore at La Parrilla, by rejecting material considered barren and preparing material for feeding to the concentrator plant.
The jigged mine feed will be fed to the existing concentrator plant, while the new, larger plant is scheduled for construction completion in June and commissioning in July.
"We have successfully commissioned the La Parrilla crusher plant and are successfully commissioning the Jig and Mill Plant. The next step is construction completion of the new concentrator plant in June and commencement of commissioning in July. Great progress has been made by the team which keeps us on-track to ramp-up to design production capacity of 200 tonnes per month by the end of 2019," said Chair Michael Masterman.
Shares in W Resources were down 1.5% at 0.44 pence on Tuesday.
