W Resources Commences Earthworks At La Parrilla Mine In Spain

LONDON (Alliance News) - Tungsten, copper and gold mining company W Resources PLC said on Tuesday it has started earthworks at the La Parrilla mine in Spain, and has started mobilising its construction team to the site.

Site preparation works are currently underway with earthworks pads for the offices key construction infrastructure nearly completed.

The Crusher engineering is 75% finalised and the award of the structural steel contract is set to be completed early in April. The Crusher plant site works is on schedule to start this month with the first concrete pour planned for May. Steel installation will follow quickly after with plant equipment delivered to site as needed.

"Overall W has moved quickly into a position where by the end of March 2018 approximately 60% of the total project commitments have been placed in firm contracts or purchase orders, providing good momentum in just over a month from financing completion," said Chairman Michael Masterman.

Shares in W Resources were up 8.2% at 0.584 pence on Tuesday.
