(Alliance News) - VR Education Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a partnership agreement with US-based science content provider VictoryXR for the use of its virtual reality training and education platform Engage.
The virtual reality technology company said the agreement will see VictoryXR import its content library onto the Engage platform, allowing its classes to be taught remotely, therefore reaching school children across the US whose learning has been interrupted by social distancing measures introduced to combat the spread of Covid-19.
"At a difficult time for education across the globe, Engage provides a fantastic solution for distance learning and through this partnership with VictoryXR we are now able to provide services and content that go beyond anything previously offered within traditional educational programmes, not only in the US but globally," said VR Education Chief Executive David Whelan.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
The stock was trading 29% higher at 10.00 pence each at midday Tuesday in London.
