Volution's New Finance Chief Andy O'Brien To Start Work In August

3rd Jul 2019 10:20

(Alliance News) - Andy O'Brien will take over as chief financial officer of Volution Group PLC on August 1 after briefly serving as designate from July 24, the company said Wednesday.

O'Brien, who spent nine years at FTSE 250-listed mobile heating and cooling firm Aggreko PLC, was selected to replace the retiring Ian Dew on April 10.

Dew, who will also step down from the board and his executive director roles on July 31, will still, however, remain with Volution for an unspecified time afterwards to ensure a smoother changeover, the company said.

At the time of O'Brien's appointment in April, Chief Executive Ronnie George said: "We are delighted to welcome Andy to the group. He is a highly accomplished senior executive who brings a wealth of financial experience and understands what it takes to grow an international business.

"Andy joins Volution Group at an exciting time in its development and we look forward to working with him as we continue our journey."

The company's shares were untraded on Wednesday morning in London, last quoted at 178.00 pence.
