Volta Finance Net Asset Value Rises In First Quarter

2nd Jun 2015 08:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - Volta Finance Ltd on Tuesday said its net asset value increased in the first quarter of its financial year, boosted by robust credit markets and from the sale of two positions in the UK.

The fund, which invests in corporate credit, sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt, residential mortgage loans and automobile loans, said its net asset value at the end of April was EUR8.13 per share, up from EUR7.94 per share at the end of January. In the year to the end of April, it has returned a total of 10%, it said.

The good performance in the quarter was down to a positive stance on credit markets in the period and the sale of two UK non-conforming residual positions.

Volta shares were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at EUR7.55.
