Volga Gas October Production Rises Due To Completed Maintenance

LONDON (Alliance News) - Volga Gas on Tuesday said its average daily production rose substantially in October, following a Gazprom pipeline maintenance programme that restricted output in September.

The oil and gas exploration company said the average production of gas, oil and condensate in October totalled 6,071 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 22% from 4,988 barrels in September.

Gas production rose to 22.5 million cubic feet per day from 18.8 million in September, oil output rose to 541 barrels per day from 369 the month before, and condensate output rose to 1,344 barrels per day from 1,138 barrels in September.

Shares in Volga were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 54.46 pence.
