LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas exploration company Volga Gas PLC said on Friday that its average production for the month of April fell by 9% compared to March.
Average oil production was of 688 barrels a day, a 9% decrease on March.
Average gas processing capacity utilisation also decreased by 9% following a few days break before testing, the focused in the Volga region of Russia said.
The implantation of the rodox gas sweetening process is expected to continue delivering an average of 3,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day, resulting in a total production of 4,500 barrels a day.
Volga said it has almost completed construction of its liquid petroleum gas project. The facility is set to start production in the second quarter of 2018.
Volga shares were trading 2.0% higher at 52.00 pence on Friday.
