LONDON (Alliance News) - Volex PLC Tuesday said that almost 72% of shares available in its open offer were taken up.
Last month, the company announced a proposed placing and open offer of 24.1 million shares at 75 pence each in order to raise roughly GBP18.1 million. The new shares were offered in the open offer on the basis of four open offer shares for every 11 existing shares held.
Volex said Tuesday that 17.3 million shares in the open offer were taken up, representing roughly 72% of the open offer shares available.
Volex shares were up 4.6% at 82.88 pence Tuesday afternoon.
