LONDON (Alliance News) - Power and data cabling provider Volex PLC on Friday said it has appointed Nathaniel Rothschild as its executive chairman.
Geraint Anderson has resigned as interim chief executive of the company and will resign from the board, while non-executive director Karen Slatford will also step down.
Volex said it had concluded it would appoint an executive chairman rather than a chief executive and non-executive chairman, saying it currently operates using a divisional CEO structure and therefore does not believe it is necessary to appoint a group CEO.
Rothschild owns a 26% stake in Volex through his NR Holdings Ltd vehicle and was appointed to Volex's board in October.
