LONDON (Alliance News) - Vodafone Group PLC said Thursday it has launched a new mobile wallet application for smart-phones, in an agreement with Australian software company Bluesource Information Ltd.
The new application allows users to load loyalty cards onto their smart-phone. It will be part of Vodafone's existing mobile wallet products, alongside its SmartPass product, which allows for contact-less financial transactions.
Shares in Vodafone were trading down 0.7% at 225.15 pence Thursday morning.
