LONDON (Alliance News) - Vodafone Group PLC on Tuesday confirmed it is holding talks with Liberty Global PLC to create a joint venture in the Netherlands which would incorporate both of their local businesses in that country.
The talks are ongoing and do not extend beyond creating a joint venture in the Netherlands, Vodafone said.
It added there is no certainty a deal will be agreed.
Vodafone released the statement following a Bloomberg report which said it had entered talks with Liberty Global once again, having walked away last year from discussions about an asset swap.
