(Alliance News) - Vodafone Group PLC said on Tuesday it has closed an offering of USD1.5 billion 4.25% notes due 2050.
Vodafone intends to apply to list the securities on the Nasdaq Global Market. The telecommunications firm said it intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including refinancing upcoming maturities.
Shares in Vodafone closed up 1.2% 157.10 pence in London on Tuesday.
