Vodafone Business Development Director Finegold To Step Down

30th Mar 2016 07:57

LONDON (Alliance News) - Telecommunications giant Vodafone Group PLC on Wednesday said Business Development Director Warren Finegold will step down from its executive committee at the end of June.

He will continue to act as an adviser to Vodafone's board and executive committee on future strategic projects from July onward, Vodafone said.

Finegold joined the committee in April 2006 and worked on the USD130.0 billion sale of Vodafone's stake in the Verizon Wireless joint venture in the US and on the acquisitions of Kabel Deutschland and of Ono in Spain.

Prior to joining Vodafone, Finegold was the company's principal mergers and acquisitions adviser in his role as a managing director of UBS Investment Bank and head of the Swiss bank's technology team.

Vodafone shares were up 1.5% to 221.15 pence Wednesday.
