LONDON (Alliance News) - Vitec Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Ian McHoul as chair designate and as a non-executive director with effect from next week.
Vitec design and makes products, including camera supports, camera mounted electronic accessories and other equipment, for broadcasters, content creators, and photographers.
McHoul will take up the role of chair at the end of Vitec's annual general meeting on May 21 when current Chair John McDonough retires.
McHoul currently serves on the board of Bellway PLC and Young & Co's Brewery PLC as a non-executive director and at Britvic PLC as senior independent director.
In his executive career, he held several senior roles including chief financial officer at Amec Foster Wheeler from 2008 to 2017.
Vitec shares were trading up 0.9% at 1,125.50 pence each on Tuesday.
