Vitec Finance Chief Kearney-Croft Stands Down; Replacement Sought

13th Sep 2019 08:57

(Alliance News) - Vitec Group PLC said Friday that Finance Director Kath Kearney-Croft resigned from the firm with immediate effect in order to "pursue other opportunities".

Kearney-Croft - in post since 2017 - will step down from her role as finance chief straight away, but will remain at Vitec until the end of September for a handover period.

Vitec Business Development Director Martin Green will become finance director on an acting basis. Green has been at Vitec since 2003 after having started his working life at Vitec in the financial reporting department.

The firm - which makes photography and video products such as autocues and camera supports - is initiating the process to find a permanent replacement for Kearney-Croft.

Vitec Chair Ian McHoul thanked Kearney-Croft for her contribution to the firm, wishing her "all the best for the future" and adding that Green is "well placed" to take on the finance responsibilities on an acting basis.

Vitec emphasised its outlook for 2019 remains unchanged.

Shares in Vitec were 0.9% lower at 1,140.00 pence in London on Friday.
