Vislink Revenue To Fall In Full Year Due To Order Timings

8th Dec 2015 09:14

LONDON (Alliance News) - Video technology company Vislink PLC on Tuesday said its revenue for the full year is set to fall due to the timing of orders from its communication systems business, though its Pebble Beach Systems unit is still robust.

Vislink said the outlook for its Pebble Beach Systems broadcast unit remains robust, with new contracts recently secured with US content company Scripps Group and software platform Orca. The unit is benefiting from its access to the US market, Vislink said, and opportunities for new contract wins remain in place.

For Vislink Communication Systems, its surveillance and public safety-focused unit, market conditions have been tough in the second half of 2015. While the company is confident new products it has launched in the fourth quarter will prove successful, the timing of the launches has meant its revenue will be more biased to the end of the year than normal.

The group expects its revenue for the full year to be GBP54.0 million to GBP58.0 million, down from the GBP61.4 million it posted a year earlier, due to the timing of orders for the new products.

Shares in Vislink were down 5.4% to 27.425 pence on Tuesday.
