LONDON (Alliance News) - Vipera PLC Tuesday said it has secured a repeat sale with the Government Savings Bank of Thailand through its partner TNFIS, part of the TN Information Systems group, for Vipera's digital financial services platform MOTIF.
The mobile financial services provider said that the licence is for 1 million users, who will use the platform through GSB's newly launched mobile banking service on their iOS or Android devices.
The application will allow the savings bank's customers to check account balances and transfer money, Vipera said, adding that they will also receive notifications about balance changes.
"TNFIS has demonstrated how well the MOTIF platform is suited to bringing innovative and cutting edge financial applications to market quickly and cost effectively, ensuring that GSB's banking customers have access to the best available mobile banking experience. This sale represents the second largest single order we have received and we look forward to announcing further sales of this technology to major retail banks in due course," Chief Executive Marco Casartelli said in a statement.
