Vipera Loss Narrows On Higher Revenue Amid New Product Launches

26th Apr 2016 10:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile financial software company Vipera PLC on Tuesday said its pretax loss narrowed marginally in 2015 on higher revenue and new product launches.

Vipera trimmed its pretax loss to EUR800,916 from to EUR802,059 a year earlier, as revenue grew to EUR6.8 million from EUR5.9 million.

Vipera said revenue from its Motif mobile platform grew 42% in the year, with mobile financial services sales also rising. In the year, the group publicly launched its Card Control product with Germany's Deutsche Bank AG and launched its MyCartaBCC product in collaboration with accountant KPMG LLP.

"2015 has been one of successfully continuing revenue growth for Vipera. Our fundraising has assisted us to expand and invest into the sales and marketing teams, which we expect to lead to further new customer deployments and revenue growth in 2016 and beyond, further establishing the strength of our Motif platform," said Chief Executive Marco Casartelli.

Vipera shares were down 1.0% to 3.59 pence.
