LONDON (Alliance News) - Victrex PLC Tuesday said that in its full-year to September 30, overall sales volumes and its Biomaterial Solutions business sales have increased slightly.
The high performance polymers company said sales volumes increased 10% in the second-half compared to its first and its full-year sales volumes saw a slight increase to 2,920 tonnes from 2,904 tonnes as industrial and transport markets sales offset lower sales in the electronics market.
The company also said its Invibio Solutions business full year sales increased slightly to GBP50.8 million from GBP50.5 million as the company's core markets improved sales and emerging markets also provided slight growth in sales.
Victrex said its ongoing investment strategy remains on plan and on budget and its 2013 full year preliminary results will be announced on December 10.
Victrex shares were up 1.3% to 1,585.00 pence in early trading Tuesday.
