(Alliance News) - Victrex PLC said Monday that Executive Director Tim Cooper will retire from the plastic products maker in late June 2020, stepping down from the board from the end of this coming September.
Cooper - executive director since 2012, having been made boss at its industrial division in 2010 - will stand down from the board at the end of September 2019 ahead of his retirement on June 20, 2020.
Victrex has no plans to replace Cooper. Instead his responsibility will be assumed by other executive board members.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Tim for his service to Victrex and wish him well in his retirement," Victrex Chair Larry Pentz said. "Over 10 years he has helped Victrex pioneer new markets and drive forward our commercial activities. Tim has made an extremely valuable contribution to Victrex, which keeps us well placed for the medium to long term."
Shares in Victrex were 0.8% lower at 2,186.00 pence in London on Monday.
