LONDON (Alliance News) - Victoria Oil & Gas PLC Friday said its subsidiary Rodeo Development Limited has completed the connection and delivery of gas to the Koumassi plant in Cameroon.
The oil and gas exploration and production company said the completion adds roughly 500,000 square cubic feet per day to RDL's gas production, bringing the total at the subsidiary to between 2.4 million and 2.9 million square cubic feet per day.
Victoria Oil & Gas said the completion also brings the total number of customer sites with completed thermal generation at RDL, to 20.
The company also said the Koumassi site, which is owned by Societe Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun is scheduled to convert a second boiler at the project to gas by the end of the year.
Victoria Oil & Gas shares were up 10% to 1.13 pence, putting it in the top ten AIM movers in early trading Friday.
