Victoria appoints Alec Pratt as CFO, replacing Brian Morgan

17th Mar 2025 11:56

(Alliance News) - Victoria PLC on Monday said it has appointed Alec Pratt as its next chief financial officer, replacing Brian Morgan, who will step down in June after three years in the role.

Pratt joins from Deutsche Bank AG, where he has served as co-head of EMEA Financial Sponsor M&A since May 2024. He will join the board as CFO-designate before officially taking over the role in late June. Morgan will remain with the company for a transition period of up to three months after his departure.

The Worcester, England-based designer, manufacturer, and distributor of innovative flooring products said Pratt brings extensive experience in corporate finance, having spent 16 years in investment banking advising on mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions.

Chair Geoff Wilding said: "Brian [Morgan] has made a valuable contribution to Victoria's long history by helping to integrate the group's largest acquisition whilst transforming the finance function across the group and head office.

"With the negotiated refinancing of VCP's debt now well advanced, Brian decided to seek a role outside Victoria and the board would like to thank him for his time at the company.

Chair Wilding added that Pratt's financial and capital markets expertise would be "extremely beneficial" for Victoria's continued growth.

Pratt said: "Victoria's leading brands and differentiated service offering provide a compelling customer proposition that has delivered strong returns through-the-cycle. I am excited to be joining the business at this time to drive operating and capital efficiency to provide a strong platform for the company's next phase of growth."

Shares in Victoria were up 8.2% at 95.00 pence in London on Monday morning.
