LONDON (Alliance News) - Automotive retailer Vertu Motors PLC said on Monday it has continued to trade in line with management expectations.
In addition, the company has appointed Andrew Goss as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Goss' most recently role was at Jaguar Land Rover, where he was global sales operations director for four and a half year from 2013 to 2018.
"We are delighted to welcome Andy to the board of Vertu. He has an unmatched wealth of sector experience. He will bring invaluable insights as the Board develops and executes its strategy in the coming years, said Chairman Peter Jones.
Vertu Motors will publish its interim results on October 10.
Shares in Vertu Motors were up 2.7% at 50.60 pence on Monday.
