LONDON (Alliance News) - Vertu Capital Ltd on Monday raised GBP800,000 in an initial public offering on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange as it seeks to buy a financial services company.
The company raised GBP800,000 via a placing of 80 million shares at 0.01 pence each. Shares in the business were untraded Monday morning.
Vertu Capital has been created in order to undertake an acquisition of a target company or business in the financial services sector, with a focus on the Asian and European markets, it said.
