LONDON (Alliance News) - Vernalis PLC Friday said it has opened its new office in the US and has strengthened its US management team.
The research and development-stage pharmaceutical company said it continues to grow its US commercial business in preparation for the expected launch of its first cough and cold treatment Tuzistra XR in 2015.
The company operates in regions it defines as UK, Rest of Europe, North America and Rest of the World.
It said it bolstered its US executive team with the appointment of Pascal Borderies, as senior vice president of medical affairs. It said the new office, in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, will be the centre for its US operations.
The company's stock was down 0.5% at 48.50 pence Friday morning.
