LONDON (Alliance News) - Ventus VCT PLC said on Friday that it has appointed former Jefferies Inc executive Chris Zeal as non-executive director, effective July 1.
Zeal most recently served as managing director of Jefferies Hoare Govett, a unit of Jefferies.
Ventus also said that David Pinckney, who had intended to retire as chairman in October 2017, will now retire in October 2018. He has remained on the board to provide continuity following the death of board member Rick Abbot in 2017.
Shares in the venture capital trust closed up 0.9% at 108.00 pence on Friday.
