LONDON (Alliance News) - Clinical research group Venn Life Sciences Holdings PLC on Thursday said its InnoVenn skin science division has extended is product line and has secured its first US sales.
InnoVenn has launched a new 12 well-plates version of the Labskin research grade human skin equivalent. The 12 well-plate version, as opposed to the existing 6 well-plate version, will provide the same quality product as its predecessor but in a small format, expanding its sales potential, Venn said.
InnoVenn also said it has recently launched a US service and has secured its first sales to a cosmetics, personal care and chemical testing group in Michigan.
"This expansion of InnoVenn's product line illustrates that this part of the business is growing independently of the CRO business, which is our strategic plan, allowing InnoVenn to be well positioned to deliver on the full potential of its technology portfolio," said Venn Chief Executive Tony Richardson.
Still, Venn shares were down 3.8% to 22.125 pence on Thursday.
