LONDON (Alliance News) - Gas-to-liquids company Velocys PLC on Monday said the first gas-to-liquids product from the Envia Energy plant in Oklahoma City in the US has been successfully produced.
The Envia plant has been commissioned by Velocys to act as the UK firm's commercial reference plant to demonstrate the company's technology.
Velocys said that, after the first product production, the operational team at the plant will now focus on ramping up to full capacity and preparing for a performance test run at the site.
Shares in Velocys were up 13% to 81.61 pence on the news.
