Vela Investing In African Hydrocarbons After BlockchainK2 Name Change

LONDON (Alliance News) - Vela Technologies PLC announced today that African Hydrocarbons Inc has been given conditional approval from the Toronto stock exchange to change its name to BlockchainK2 Corp.

Vela, which is a technology investment company, has an agreement to invest GBP200,589 in African Hydrocarbons that is conditional on the company's change of business.

Under its BlockchainK2 name, African Hydrocarbons will become a blockchain technology company. It will cease its oil and gas exploration in North Africa and will initially mine cryptocurrency.

Shares in Vela Technologies were up 0.9% at 0.66 pence per share on Monday afternoon.
