LONDON (Alliance News) - Respiratory drugs company Vectura Group PLC on Friday said it expects to complete its merger with smaller peer Skyepharma PLC in June following the competition clearance the deal received earlier this week.
On Monday, the UK's Competition & Markets Authority confirmed the proposed merger does not qualify for investigation under investigation under the Enterprise Act 2002. The pair agreed an all-share merger in March.
Vectura now expects Skyepharma shares to be cancelled on June 9, and for the deal to complete the following day.
