Vectura Partner Gets Approval For AirFluSal Forspiro In Mexico

LONDON (Alliance News) - Vectura Group PLC said Thursday that its partner Sandox has been granted marketing authorisation by the Mexican Health Authority for AirFluSal Forspiro, an inhaler for patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The approval covered 50-100 milligram, 50-250 milligram and 50-500 milligram doses. It will be branded IrFlosol Forspiro in Mexico.

The product has already been launched in four European countries, and has marketing authorisation in eight European countries and South Korea.

Sandoz is the generics division of Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis AG.

Shares in Vectura were trading down 0.2% at 139.75 pence Thursday morning.
