LONDON (Alliance News) - Vast Resources PLC on Monday said it has raised GBP852,500 through a placing and subscription of shares in the company, raising funds for operational and corporate purposes.
Shares in the mining company were down 1.8% at 0.17 pence on Monday.
Vast issued 557.2 million shares in total at a price of 0.153 pence each, consisting of a placing of 550 million shares and a subscription of 7.2 million shares.
The placing was undertaken by joint broker SVS Securities PLC, and the subscription was by an unnamed investor.
Proceeds will go towards corporate purposes, as well as operations in the Baita Plai polymetallic mine in Romania and the Marange diamond fields in Zimbabwe.
Vast Resources now has 7.50 billion shares issued overall.
