LONDON (Alliance News) - Value and Income Trust PLC Wednesday said its net asset value per share, valuing debt at par, decreased by 2.4% over the first six months of its financial year, while the FTSE All-Share Index fell by 0.6% over the same period.
Over the six months ended September 30, the capital value of the trust's equity portfolio, adjusted for sales and purchases, fell by 4.5%, while the index fell by 0.6%. The capital value of the trust's existing property portfolio rose by 3.2%.
Value and Income Trust shares were up 1.5% at 263.89 pence on Wednesday.
