LONDON (Alliance News) - ValiRx PLC Thursday said it has engaged Burns McClellan, a US-based investor relations consultancy, to help boost recognition of the company within the US life science investor community.
ValiRx, which focuses on cancer diagnostics and therapeutics for personalised medicine, said it has hired the consultancy firm after it established a US office in the final quarter of 2015. It hopes Burns McClellan can boost its profile by encouraging greater interaction with academic, clinical, and business leaders in ValiRx's areas of oncological development.
"During the annual JP Morgan healthcare conference in San Francisco in mid-January 2016, Burns McClellan conducted an institutional investor introductory programme for ValiRx, on a project basis, which the company found beneficial and has been keen to accelerate," said the company.
ValiRx shares were down 0.6% to 13.05 pence per share on Thursday morning.
