Utilitywise Shares Rise As It Joins Partnership With Vodafone And Dell

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares in Utilitywise PLC surged on Tuesday as the company said it partnered with FTSE 100-listed Vodafone Group PLC and Dell EMC to launch an new energy and building management platform.

Shares were trading 15% higher at 32.00 pence each on the back of the announcement; while Vodafone shares were 1.1% higher at 184.70p.

The new platform will "transform the way businesses use energy and run their sites", the company said.

The platform allows businesses to monitor all their energy outputs from different buildings and site in one integrated hub.

The collaboration extends from technology to marketing with the Vodafone sale team cooperating with Utilitywise to take the platform to market.

"This is a truly ground-breaking technology that will produce significant savings for businesses. By giving business owners and building managers unprecedented insight into how their businesses are using energy, they can make truly-informed decisions about how to reduce their utility bills," Corporate Division Managing Director Brin Sheridan said.
