(Alliance News) - US Solar Fund PLC on Monday said it has completed the acquisition of three solar power projects in the US state of North Carolina, the last of a 39 megawatt portfolio of eight units which it agreed to purchase for USD36 million in December.
The three projects alone generate a total of 11 megawatts of power, the energy investor said.
Earlier in January, it completed the acquisition of the five other projects in the portfolio.
US Solar agreed to buy the portfolio of eight projects from Greenbacker Renewable Energy Corp in December, after entering into an exclusivity agreement with the New York City-based firm in October.
Shares in London-based US Solar, which also has offices in New York City and Sydney, were untraded in London on Monday morning, last quoted at USD1.06 each.
