BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The US dollar slipped against the other major currencies in early European deals on Thursday.
The greenback fell to 0.9726 versus the franc, its lowest level since February 12, while touching near a 5-week low of 1.1296 against the euro.
The greenback slipped to more than a 3-week low of 111.48 against the yen and a 3-day low of 1.4311 against the pound, compared to Wednesday's closing values of 112.53 and 1.4258,respectively.
If the greenback extends slide, it may locate support around 0.96 against the franc, 1.135 against the euro, 111.00 against the yen and 1.44 against the pound.
